In the latest ICC Men’s T20I bowler rankings, Pakistani fast bowler Haris Rauf has secured 11th spot moving 5 spots up the list.
He has surpassed his teammate Shadab Khan as he remains at 12th place. Rauf has shown an outstanding performance in the first three T20Is of Pakistan’s ongoing series against New Zealand. During the 3 matches that took place, Rauf took ten wickets, including two back-to-back four-wicket hauls, which contributed to his rise in the rankings.
Ish Sodhi and Shaheen Afridi have also climbed up the rankings. Moreover, Afghanistan spinner Rashid Khan continues to hold the top spot in T20I rankings for bowlers.
Additionally, Sri Lankan left-arm spinner Prabath Jayasuriya gained 13 places. Prabath has entered the top 20 in ICC Test bowling rankings. He achieved this by taking ten wickets in the first Test against Ireland. Jayasuriya has already taken 43 wickets in six Tests that includes five five-wicket hauls.
Ravichandran Ashwin of India remains at the top of the Test bowler’s rankings. He has 869 points according to the ICC T20 bowlers rankings.
Sri Lankan batters also made gains in the rankings with skipper Dimuth Karunaratne impressive 179 off 235 balls who achieved 783 points for the ranking. He has secured the ninth position among Test batters. Dinesh Chandimal, on the other hand has scored an unbeaten hundred in Galle, jumped four places to 14th position. Marnus Labuschagne of Australia has saved his position as the top-ranked Test batter with 915 points.
